The year of 2002 was a very special year for me. The following news clipping prompted my courage to send slides concerning the exhibit. I did not expect to have anything happen with what I sent, but God had other plans I suppose.

Old News Art for Healing - Memorial Hospital Gala 2006 Art for Healing Gala is a very special event for Chattanooga and the surrounding areas. I am so very proud to have been chosen to be a part of this event. The photo chosen for 2006, Enchantment, is one that I took while at the Chattanooga Nature Center. It was a sunny day and the butterfly was very active. I used my 300 zoom lens and speeded up the camera's sutter speed to let less light in. I am happy that it worked out so very well for me.
